Hear From Our Former Students!
“I completed my second clinical rotation with Memphis Physical Therapy at their Arlington location & my experience far surpassed my expectations entering the experience at the beginning of the five weeks. At Memphis Physical Therapy, I was able to build upon skills that I already possessed, but I was also challenged to add new skills to my “physical therapy toolbox” that will help me be the most complete clinician possible in the future. My clinical instructor, Rusty, was an excellent educator on helping me develop the understanding of how to give each patient the best individualized care possible, as no two patients are the exact same. I believe that my five-week experience with Rusty and Memphis Physical Therapy have helped develop me into a more compassionate and effective clinician, and I am beyond thankful for my time there. I believe it is also important to note that during this clinical rotation with Memphis Physical Therapy, I was also able to get an up-close view of conditions that I have not interacted with frequently during my previous hours in clinic such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s Disease, and more. Being able to interact with patients with these conditions has helped better prepare me for the more complicated cases that I could possibly be treating as a clinician one day. I would strongly recommend Memphis Physical Therapy to any potential patients that are interested physical therapy that is rooted in high-quality personalized care. Furthermore, I can not recommend this clinical site enough to physical therapy students that have interest in learning and continuing to perfect their craft under the wing of some of the best clinicians in the greater Memphis area.
